This Ship Shape butter dish was designed by Stefano Giovannoni and Paul Van Lersel Harry for Alessi in the 1990s. It is made of injection molded PMMA and polypropylene, and is in the form of a ship with the knife handle depicting smoke from the funnel. A creative receptacle, it can be used for sauces, butter, jam etc., and the spatula invites use from imaginative consumers with a sweet tooth.
