Van Gogh Irises Oblong Silk Scarf

This silk scarf features beautiful blossoms inspired by Vincent van Gogh's beloved bouquets. In 1890, while staying at the asylum in Saint-Rémy, the artist created four stunning still lifes, one of which was the vibrant Irises. Using fugitive red pigments, van Gogh sought to achieve a soft and harmonious look by pairing the violet flowers with a pink background. Unfortunately, the colors have faded over time. Made of 100% silk, this scarf measures 64'' x 16 1/2'' and should be dry cleaned.
