Morello Cherry Pendant Necklace by Michael MIchaud

$ 250.00

Michael Michaud Jewelry is a world-renowned collection of botanical jewelry. His unique pieces capture the beauty and exquisite detail of nature using soft patinas on bronze accented with pearls, beads and semi-precious stones. Each piece is hand crafted and cast from the actual plant, using a technique similar to lost-wax casting. Michael's exacting attention to detail gives you true to nature, botanical jewelry - handmade in New York.

The cherry tree is a delight in all seasons, but especially in summer when it’s hung with wonderful red fruits. These designs were inspired by a panel decorated with cherries in the Green Dining Room at the Victoria and Albert Museum, designed by the firm Morris, Marshall, Faulkner and Co. in 1886. William Morris was a major influence on the Arts and Crafts Movement, which adopted many of his ideals on the value of hand craftsmanship and the maintenance of truth and honesty in the materials of production.

The collection is licensed by the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, England.
